Ryan Floyd
Managing Director – Storm Ventures
Ryan is a founding Managing Director of Storm Ventures where he invests in, and works with, early stage enterprise SaaS startups. His primary focus is applications and cloud infrastructure related companies. He is always interested in hearing from passionate technology entrepreneurs. Ryan is a skilled writer and commentator on all things SaaS. He’s written for Techcrunch, Sifted, Thrive Global and is a regular contributor to The UK Newspaper. He’s host of the recently launched #AskAVC YouTube channel aimed at enterprise entrepreneurs. In each episode he tackles a different issue relating to building and scaling B2B startups – topics such as how to pitch to an investor and how to combat sales churn.
When he’s not working with his portfolio founders, Ryan is active with Code2040, a nonprofit organization that creates pathways to educational, professional, and entrepreneurial success in technology for underrepresented minorities. And occasionally he finds time for surfing!
Laure Fischer
Senior Associate -Touchdown Ventures
Laure Fischer is a Senior Associate at Touchdown Ventures. At Touchdown, Laure focuses on early to growth-stage investments in edge computing, security, enterprise digital transformation, XR, and smart mobility.
Prior to joining Touchdown, Laure was on the deal execution team at AngelList, working with investors to close 150+ early-stage investments. Laure also spent several years as a full-stack software engineer at a small media company in Boston. Laure began her career in strategy and operations consulting at Deloitte in New York. She holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Northwestern, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In her spare time, Laure loves running, surfing, and exploring both Northern and Southern California.
Victor Gutwein
Founder – M25
Victor is the founder and managing partner of M25, the most active VC firm in the Midwest. They invest in both B2B and B2C pre-seed and seed-stage software and digital startups with a strong geographical focus on the Midwest region from Minneapolis to Kansas City to Pittsburgh. Victor is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 22) and former leader of Hyde Park Angels and founding board member of Midway Ventures, a student-run VC firm at the University of Chicago. Victor lives with his wife and three kids on the South Side of Chicago, is a Euro-style board game fan and loves staying active with running, biking, swimming, backpacking and any team sport you’ll let him join.

Anthony was the original founder and author of an Open-Source Software-Defined Telecommunications platform called FreeSWITCH, created in 2005. Today, the FreeSWITCH platform is used as a critical component by enterprises worldwide, including Zoom|Phone, Five9, Amazon Connect, Vonage, and Dialpad.
Michael Jerris

One of the founders of the FreeSWITCH open source project, and an advanced communications pioneer. Michael is deeply embedded in the developer community and committed to their success using SignalWire.
Brian West

One of the founders of the FreeSWITCH open source project, and an advanced communications pioneer. A key player in helping SignalWire to build a cutting edge platform that will disrupt the telecommunications status quo. In his role as director of support, Brian enjoys interacting with and helping customers to solve some of the unique challenges they encounter.
Daniel-Constantin Mierla
Founder – Kamailio
Daniel co-founded Kamailio in June 2005, aiming to build a solid SIP server project where openness to community and contributions has an important role, previously being core developer of SIP Express Router (SER) from its early beginning in 2002. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Polytechnics University of Bucharest and worked as a researcher in network communications at Fraunhofer Fokus Institute, Berlin, Germany. His activity is done at Asipto, a company targeting to offer and build reliable services and solutions that benefit at maximum from Kamailio’s flexibility and features.
Fred Posner
VoIP Engineer – Kamailio
Fred’s primary role is a VoIP Consultant, specializing in Open Source software including Asterisk, Kamailio (formerly OpenSER), and FreeSWITCH. Fred enjoys evangelizing open source telecom and has spoken at Astricon, Kamailio World, Cluecon, and more. Fred is also a member of the Kamailio project and the founder of APIBAN; helping to protect SIP systems from unwanted traffic.
Jachen Duschletta
Developer – HOMER
Jachen is a Sr. Solution Architect and Developer at QXIP. Born in the ranks of QXIP’s decentralized efforts and co-author of the Meething dWebRTC platform, he leads HEPIC operations for the US and participates in the design and development of the QRYN framework and all of its polyglot integrations.
Liviu Chircu
Core Developer – OpenSIPS Project
Full time VoIP systems engineer and software developer. Open-source enthusiast. Passionate about concise thinking, clean software design and production-ready codebases.
Liviu has been involved with OpenSIPS and the VoIP world for over 9 years. He is a software developer and VoIP consultant for OpenSIPS Solutions. Armed with extensive knowledge regarding SIP protocol quirks, OpenSIPS inner-workings, troubleshooting typical VoIP setups, software packaging and deployment automation, as well as architecting SIP platforms and databases from A-Z, his constant focus is on producing optimal answers to random questions, as quickly as possible.
