SignalWire 101
The training session will begin with signing up to SignalWire and a quick overview of the dashboard, taking note of some key concepts we will reuse later. After buying your first DID, we will set up a call handler and receive our first phone call, then learn about a few more voice features including conferencing. On a tour of the REST API, we will learn how to place outbound calls. Sending and receiving SMS will be next, with an explanation on what the Campaign Registry is and how it impacts messaging. An introduction to SIP on SignalWire and BYOC will extend our capabilities and include a demonstration of a web-based SIP client. To wrap up the voice training, we will finish building a real-life call center solution. Finally, we will learn about the SignalWire video offering, allowing us to effortlessly embed video in any web application, and our new chat API that can power your communications.
